There are 4 functions to this chopping board: 

Defrosting Function: Place the frozen foods onto the defrosting side of the chopping board, just as simple as that. The chopping board is equipped with thermal technology that defrost foods 3 times faster. 

Knife Sharpening Function: There is gap between the handle, that is where you sharpen your knives. Just run your knife a couple times and it will hone it. 

Garlic Grinder: On the chopping board their is a built-in grinder. Just choose what you want to grind and start grinding.

Chopping: Flip to the chopping side and start chopping.
